I started cleaning homes about a year ago & now want and need to go to natural products. The chemicals are toxic as I have had several bronchial infections and weird rashes since I started cleaning full-time. So........I read your recipes.

Dear Nancy,
I have a couple issues I would like to address.
I am cleaning my home with natural products, all are products you have mentioned. I make my dish liquid using liquid castile soap and lemongrass essential oil. I was told that Lemongrass is used over in Europe in their hospital cleaning products. I have also used orange essential oil. Anyway my dishes and sinks are always left with an oily film on them. The castile soap is made from oils, is this the cause?. Do you have another suggestion for a dish liquid?
I do not have a background in Environmental training, Holistic training or other training. I am self taught. I have been using Essential oils to make many personal care products for family and friends. I have some knowledge of Herbs and their properties. I grow, harvest and use my Herbs. I am very much into the Earth. I mean down and dirty into the Earth.
I am currently becoming more informed on how the FDA and the Pharmaceutical Co. misinform the public on information such as natural cures. Plus the disgusting chemicals, preservatives etc. allowed into our food.
I am interested in starting my own Natural Cleaning Business. (nothing like that in my are) You mention that most people that have a Natural Cleaning Business, have some Formal education in Environmental issues, Reiki or Feng Shui. I have books on all subjects but do not have any formal training.
Second question. How do I get started? I feel very passionate about offering a service that not only offers a meticulously clean home but, a home that will enhance the owners mind, body and soul, using natural cleaning products,Essential Oils and Herbs.
I found your Website purely by accident and so glad I did. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I found your web site while researching holistic house cleaning. What a GREAT site!!! I've been cleaning houses for several years but just recently heard of natural cleaning and wanted to start a bigger and better business using healthier products in GA. Hi Nancy, love your website. You have some great information about natural cleaning products. I am trying to start my own cleaning business using only natural products. There is nothing like that in my area and I think it would really take off if I can figure out how to word my newspaper ad. I don't know much about starting a business; I clean for a company at the present time and the chemicals we use are starting to get to me!
